Story/Lyrics Behind Bliss

Biss is about a girl that is told by her partners that she tastes sweet and amazing. She wants to know what it's like so she tries a lot of different girls to see if they are as good as she is supposed to be but none of them are. So she tries to taste herself. She even goes as far as breaking her ribs to reach further but she still can't reach. Finally she cuts it out so she can taste what's so sweet.

Lyrics:

I can see it in her eyes what she wants to do
To taste mine
She's not the first girl to strike my eyes but the first pursued
So she tries
"It's the best, oh, it's the best"
A drive to finish me accommodates success
Gives me a taste of the inner V
So disappointing in every way

This is my time
This is my life
I want to know how it feels
This is my time
Now it's my turn
The best blood ever spilt

Face the dream slowly sliding deep aside
So much pain but worth it
Pull this pleasure out of me
Tendons Tearing clitoris staring
I've tried tasting other girls
But vulgarities found why is mine the best?
Broken ribs to try to reach
But I still can’t seize
Why is mine the best?
I've got to think of something now
I found a knife to cut it out
I've got to pull real hard and endure the pain
So that I may lick, so that I may taste

This is my time
This is my life
I want to know how it feels
This is my time
Now it's my turn
The best blood ever spilt

Faint, no pain

Story Behind Desea

It’s been quite a long time since I posted back stories about what our songs are about so it’s about time I started doing that again. I’ll start with one of our most popular songs, Desea.

Desea is based off of the murderer Andrei Chikitilo, also known as the Red Ripper, The Rostov Ripper and the Butcher of Rostov.

Chikitilo had a pretty traumatic childhood. He was often beaten for being a chronic bed wetter, his brother Steppan was kidnapped and eaten by his starving neighbors, he witness Blitzkrieg, his father was branded as a traitor after being captured by Nazis, and in his late adolescence it became evident that he had chronic impotence.

Chikitilo committed his first murder in December 1978 when he tried to rape a nine year old girl. He was unable to achieve an erection and when the girl struggled to escape he stabbed her at least 22 times, even in the eye sockets, until she died. In the process he ejaculated.

From that Chikitilo was only able to achieve sexual satisfaction from killing people. His trademarks were sexual assault, multiple stabbings with focus on the heart, sex organs and the eye sockets. His victims were women and children, both male and female. He later said he targeted runaways, vagrants, prostitutes, the homeless, and the mentally challenged and thought he was doing society a favor by ridding it of it’s problems.

Eventually Chikitilo was caught and confessed to 53 murders. He was found guilty of 52 and was sentenced to death.

You can learn more about Chikitilo at these and other sites: http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/notorious/chikatilo/coat_1.html

Updates

We haven't posted for a while so we thought we should update our fans about what's going on.

We have been spending a lot of time in our studio space working on writing new songs. We have 4 new songs in the works that we are excited about. Some of them are different from our normal sound and it's been interesting to work on those ones.

Our new drummer, Kyle, has written a new song as well. He did everything from the drums and guitar to the lyrics. We are impressed that he is so involved and has new ideas and we are excited to see what else he comes up with. He is an amazingly talented drummer and we are glad to have him be part of our band.

We are planning to start booking some fall shows and should have information about those up in the next few weeks.

Thank You

We had a great time at the show last night and would just like to thank everyone for coming out to see and support us.

Thank you to Never Thy Slave & Radiata for working with us to promote the show and for all their hard work. They did a great job!

A special thank you to Big Red Productions & Arsenic Addiction for jumping on board at literally the last minute. That was awesome and we were very impressed.

Thank you to Torque who couldn't make the show but supported us. We hope to get to play with them soon (and will at MOACA at the end of the month. Check it out at: www.myspace.com/moacamusic).

Thank you to the Avalon and all the guys there. They were a huge help and were great to work with.

And finally, thank you to Marshall Magneson who is currently thousands of miles away but has still been a huge help/support to the band. He has gone above and beyond to help us and promote us and do anything he can for us.

Awesome OCCIDIS Review from an Old Show

Browsing online yesterday I found this old review that John Foxworthy did at a show at the Circuit back in 2005. If the picture is too small to see what he said you can read the article here: http://www.garageradio.com/modules.php?name=News&file=print&sid=1179

We hope that if you come to our show this Sunday that you will have the same response as he did then.

Check Out The Guitar We're Giving Away On Sunday

We will be giving away this guitar at our show on Sunday at the Avalon. It's a pretty sweet guitar and it plays awesome. Our guitarist actually has been trying to convince us to let him keep it for himself.

Be sure to come to the show for your chance to win this, a tattoo gift certificate, or OCCIDIS merchandise and to see 4 bands put on an awesome show. We can't wait to get on stage and tear it up.

See you Sunday

Updated Show Flyer

Destructionator will no longer be playing with us on August 2nd. There was a scheduling conflict. We'll now be playing with a new band Never Thy Slave.

The show is in less than 2 weeks now. Don't miss out on seeing some awesome bands or a chance to win free merchandise, a guitar or a tattoo gift certificate. Email occidisband@gmail.com to get tickets or you can get them at www.smithstix.com.

Be sure to check out our MySpace, Facebook & Twitter accounts and add us to keep updated with what the band is up to. We will be updating them regularly about what we are up to and where we are hanging out so you can come meet/hang out with the band and maybe get some free merch.

Show Cancelled

Hey OCCIDIS friends and fans,

Due to some unexpected complications and miscommunications, OCCIDIS has decided not to play at the Outer Rim this Friday night. We were looking forward to playing a show where we could have more interaction with our fans but we feel that this show is not a good fit for us at this time. We are currently scheduling another show and hope to have details about that up later this week.

If you have already bought tickets from us for the show we will be in contact with you to refund you.

Thanks for your interest and support! Nazty Habit, Ghost of Zion and other great bands will still be playing Friday so if you are interested you should still check it out!
